On Saturday 23rd March 2024, UK student Halo organisation, the University Halo League (UHL) will be hosting its first LAN event at the University Campus of Esports.
Held at the iconic London campus of the University Campus of Esports, UHL will be running a four-versus-four LAN setup, as well as utilising the on-site broadcast facilities to stream the event.
Run in collaboration with National Student Esports (NSE) and University Esports (NUEL), UHL run the collegiate esports circuit for Halo Infinite – providing unique competitive opportunities within the title.
This event will bring the best collegiate Halo teams together to London, following four weeks of Swiss-stage matches, to determine the overall winner of the UHL Spring tournament.
Stuart Kosters, Head of Undergraduate Programmes at the University Campus of Esports, said: “We are incredibly excited to be hosting this event utilising our bespoke gaming and broadcast facilities. This incredible project has allowed for our students to gain first-hand experience within the industry and add another thing to their ever-growing professional portfolios – making them one step closer to being world ready when they graduate. On behalf of the University Campus of Esports, we wish all players and teams involved the best of luck at this event.”
The event is set to be livestreamed on the EuroHaloLeague Twitch channel from 11:00am GMT on Saturday 23rd March, and further information on this project can be found on the University Halo League’s social media platforms.
