EXPLORE OUR
CAMPUS:

OUR BROADCAST STUDIO:

At the University Campus of Esports, we pride ourselves on providing our students with all of the tools they need to succeed in any industry they choose – and our BBC-Level broadcast facilities help us fulfil this.

With three 4K broadcast cameras, top-of-the-range audio decks, and a virtual set provided by Storm Broadcast, our students gain first-hand experience with equipment they will find in the industry.

STUDENT LEARNING ZONE:

Our Student Learning Zone (SLZ) has little bit of everything for everyone, and can be transformed for a range of events and activities.

From state-of-the-art Sim Racing rigs provided by Williams F1 Racing, to an assortment of next-gen consoles, students can use this space to relax, unwind, and spend time with their peers.

On top of being a communal space for students, the SLZ has been transformed into a LAN space for the likes of the UHL Halo Spring Major 2024, and even  a 1v1 tournament zone for a competition run by our students.

GAMING HUB:

Our Gaming Hub is the heart of our campus, and is utilised by staff and students alike.

Each workstation has a full-tower PC with the most up-to-date hardware, a gaming headset, mouse, keyboard, mousemat, as well as an Elgato Stream Deck and Face Cam.

By day, the Gaming Hub hosts a range of lectures and seminars, and by night, the room fills up with our London Legion teams practicing and playing their competitive matches.

STREAMING & SCRIM ROOMS:

On top of the gaming setups we have in the main Gaming Hub, we also have spaces specifically designed for students to utilise for streaming, and practicing games as a team.

Our Streaming Room can be booked by any student to use throughout the week for live streams or quiet independent study. This room has a triple monitor setup with a green screen, ring light, and audio deck perfect for live streaming.

The Scrim Room is a private space in the Gaming Hub for up to five people to game at once – making it perfect for our London Legion teams to practice and compete in.

Campus accessibility

The Velodrome has been designed to be as accessible and inclusive as possible for a wide range of visitors, participants and employees.

Our surrounding environment is equally well designed and prepared with the operators of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park believing the Park might be the most accessible in the UK.

The Velodrome itself offers good step-free access, hard-standing surfaces, accessible lifts, corridors, doorways and toilets, as well as Blue Badge car parking.
