A key part of student life is going out to restaurants and bars on the weekend or after lectures. A 12-minute walk away from campus, a must-visit is the cultural campus of Here East. Home to several bars and restaurants, overlooking the Lee Canal, you can find hidden gems such as Four Quarters and The Breakfast Club.
Four Quarters is a gamer’s dream bar, featuring arcade games from the 80s and 90s with a beer garden for the sunny days. Challenge your friends on vintage arcade machines and consoles for a night full of laughter.

3. Visit Stratford’s rooftop bar – Roof East
A new addition to East London is the rooftop bar situated on top of Stratford Shopping Centre, opposite Stratford station. Roof East is a great location to go for food and drinks or enjoy their rooftop cinema and eclectic events, across the summer months.
